· The ticket giveaway procedures were reiterated. Only members who attend the fortnightly general meetings are permitted to sign up and giveaway tickets. Tickets must only be given away to the designated union event. All winners should be emailed to tickets@sureradio.com immediately along with show name.

· The studios are a mess, all members should try to keep them tidy. They can do this by not taking excess copies of Steel Press etc. in, and binning all litter. Members were also reminded that no open neck bottles are permitted in the studio at anytime.

· Members were informed of the committee elections scheduled to take place March 10th 2008. If you want any information regarding positions and roles then feel free to contact the appropriate committee member.

· The autotrack system on myriad should help presenters know how many playlisted songs they should be playing and when. However when in doubt, all playlisted shows should play at least 5 A-list songs and 3 B-list songs each hour.

· Due to issues of safety, the voice recorders are now to be locked away. They can be signed out during committee office hours, Monday to Friday 12-2pm.

· Members were reminded that Sure is not allowed to give CDs away, and members should not be removing them.

· Members were told of the newly formed music committee. This committee will be split into different genres, given albums/singles to review over the weekend, and submit feedback which will be used to create the playlist. All those interested in getting involved should email mmguiness@sureradio.com

· The phone line is now working in studio one. A laminate check-sheet guide is available in the studio. Similarly, a laminate guide is in the studio telling presenters how to login to the studio’s email.

· The whiteboard is a news whiteboard and should not be used or abused to promote individual shows.

· Giles Davy told members, of Sure’s association with Sheffield Live, broadcast over FM. Potentially Sure members will be able to participate with a show on this station. Producers and researchers willing to take on such a commitment are needed, if interested please contact g.davy@sureradio.com

· Joe Allen emphasised the importance of attending General Meetings each fortnight. If you are not aware of these meetings or are not on the mailing list then please email n.birtles@sureradio.com

· Mike McCarthy ran through the proceedures for renewing or arranging a show for next year and members filled in application forms. If you were unable to attend the meeting and want a show next year then contact m.mcarthy@sureradio.com Please note that priority will be given to those that attended the meeting or who notified a committee member of their absence before the meeting.
