To promote the upcoming Sure elections members of the committee ran through their positions and roles within the radio. The committee position previously known as Head of Sports is being changed to Assistant Head of News and Sport. There is an excess of Sure Radio posters; members should feel free to take a few home with them.

Some important issues were brought to the attention of members. If you notice that studio equipment is broken email the technology department immediately. The levels are not to be meddled with by anyone. Similarly no one should be touching the CDs without permission. In addition shows should only be pre-recorded in studio 2 as a last resort.

Mike McCarthy is hosting The Forum, 5:30-6:30 on Wednesdays. Anyone interested in discussing current affairs on the show should contact him

The Sure Radio Awards ceremony is taking place on Thursday 15th May. All members are encouraged to submit entries consisting of edited clips of their shows. Joe Allen briefly ran through the process of editing a show. Entry costs £2, and gives free admission to the awards ceremony itself. More information about this event will be emailed out closer to the time.

Giles Davy informed members that ticket giveaways are restarting this week. Those interested in giving away tickets to union events should attend general meetings and talk to Giles.
