There has been some confusion recently over the attendance of General Meetings. So I'll try and clear up this up here.

Attendence to General Meetings is COMPULSORY. Unlike other societies or committees, Sure Radio involves expensive equipment and a continual commitment. The station is constantly being improved and updated, and we need input from members to help and endorse this change.

At these meetings members will be informed of important changes to the station and studios, be able to sign up to give tickets away on their shows and be notified of upcoming Sure events and socials which you are encouraged to attend.

A note will be taken of those who do not attend and frequent non-attendence will result in shows being taken off the air and members being overlooked when compliling the next semesters schedule.

General Meetings from this semester onwards will only be taking place once a month, unlike every two weeks previously. Notice of when and where these meetings are going to take place will be sent by email to all members and posted on this website by a committee member at least 5 days before. Therefore there is no more excuse for non-attendence.

All members are free to have a pint or three afterwards in Interval.
